Bring a packed lunch and drink, dress according to the weather and get to know the outer side of Senja on two wheels. Explore chalk-white beaches, take a mountain hike, find the best motifs along the way and just enjoy!
We give you suggestions for day trips and different distances if you want to combine with accommodation elsewhere.
Tour suggestions:
Skagi – Bøvær beach 4 km (end of road, show consideration and follow signs)
Skagi – Bergsbotn viewpoint 10 km, continue a couple of kilometers to parking for Stormoa mountain hike (through Skaland tunnel)
Skagi – Steinfjord beach 4.1 km, in the village you will also find a cozy atmosphere at Camp Steinfjord
Skagi – Tungeneset viewpoint 7.5 km with the Million toilet
Skagi – Ersfjord outdoor area 11 km with the Golden toilet
Skagi – Mefjordvær 20 km, along the way you should stop at Roalden cafè in Senjahopen and also stop by Mefjord Brygge and admire the Boathouse toilet
Skagi – Fjordgård 34 km, we mention Segla, Hesten, Barden and a prize for yourself at Segla Grill or Damperiet Sauna
We have:
4 adult bikes (women and men from Small to Large). In addition, 2 external bicycles may be available.
1 children's bike (approx. 8-12 years)
1 bike trailer
You get a lock for the bike, which is to be used when the bike is left. Reflective vest, especially important if you are going through tunnels.
Equipment for seat adjustment and bicycle pump is available for use before departure.

Pick-up points:
Skagi at Skaland using a key box.
Bicycles can in some cases be handed out/handed in elsewhere on Senja or Finnsnes.
Other equipment and additional information:
Hiking backpack, hiking poles, towel, tent etc. for rent.
Transport by boat can be organized to/from the quay/pier.
We don't have e-bikes.
As a general rule, Skagi is not serviced. Booking in advance via phone/ mail/ Messenger and payment via bank (information is sent via email).
Generally:
Show consideration for locals and others. Respect signage and private areas. Ask the landowner for permits and as a minimum follow the legislation according to parking, grilling and camping.
Terms, liability:
By renting equipment, you acknowledge responsibility for our equipment and for safeguarding your own and others' health, risk and safety. You accept that you have familiarized yourself with the function and area of use of the equipment. Statutory safety equipment must be used and any other provisions stipulated in legislation, including the use of intoxicants, must be followed. The landlord cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur. Damage to equipment triggers a liability for compensation and must be reported as soon as possible and no later than when handing it in.
