How to get to Skagi Bed

Choose one of 3 aiports.

Bardufoss airport 2 hours: Daily direct flights from Oslo Gardermoen Airport. Flight Shuttle bus 50 minutes to Finnsnes city or rental car. Plus 1 hr to Skaland. 

Tromsø Langnes Airport 3 hours: A wide selection of national and international flights to Tromsø Airport. Rental car or shuttle bus to Tromsø City center. Daily departures with Express boat directly to Finnsnes port 1hr 15 min. Plus 1 hr to Skaland. 

Harstad/Narvik Evenes Airport 3 ,5 hours: Rental car 2hr 30 min to Finnsnes, plus 1 hr to Skaland.

 


From Finnsnes to Skaland by car, following R86 towards Gryllefjord, then road 861: 1 hr drive

Driving the scenic route / northern route 1hr 30 min.

There are also buses going but not on everyday basis. Let us help you if you have questions of public transportation. 

 

Car ferry all year round connecting to Tromsø: 

Brensholmen - Botnhamn car ferry has a daily, all year round schedule and therefore connects well with the Tromsø region. 

 

Summerferry Vesterålen /Lofoten:

Mid May until beginning of September has a daily car ferry Gryllefjord - Andenes, coneccting Senja to Vesterålen/ Lofoten region.

Hike to mount Husfjell, 635 masl

The hike to mount Husfjell starts right outside Skagi hotel. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. The hike is familyfriendly, yet gives you spectacular view.
